Trump Media to launch paid, instant feed of Truth Social posts
The service launches Aug. 1 and is designed for financial traders seeking faster access to posts that can move markets within seconds.
Trump Media and Technology Group, which owns Truth Social, plans to launch a paid service that delivers high speed access to what it calls its most influential posts, with instant updates slated to begin Aug. 1, BBC Business reports.
The company said the product is aimed at Wall Street firms and traders who want near real time visibility into posts associated with sudden market swings, especially when Trump discusses trade and tariffs. BBC Business notes that the motivation is speed, since even seconds can matter for trading decisions.
Trump Media said instant updates will be delivered directly to paying clients, replacing manual monitoring of the app by banks and traders. The company also said some firms have copied its data without permission, and warned it will block those methods, pushing clients to buy the official feed instead.
BBC Business added that the move underscores the overlap between Trump Media’s business and Trump’s public role as president, given that his posts can affect global markets. Trump currently has the most followers on the platform, the report said.
