Judy Markey dies at 82, remembered as a Chicago radio host
The New York Times reports that Judy Markey, a Chicago radio voice known for hosting segments with Kathy O’Malley as “the Girlfriends,” died at age 82.
The outlet says their freewheeling programming included a segment called “Sex Thursday,” and Markey and O’Malley were among the rare female hosts in a major market.
