FTX set to distribute about $900 million in fifth payout wave

The Block reports that the FTX bankruptcy estate plans another round of creditor repayments, with a fifth wave of distributions totaling roughly $900 million.

The outlet said repayments have already started in 2025 and that, so far, the estate has distributed nearly $10 billion to creditors and other claimants.

The latest payout is expected to continue the repayment process as the bankruptcy administration moves through the remaining creditor claims.
