Publicis raises full-year organic growth outlook after Q2 acceleration
The French advertising group reported record first-half headline margin of 17.5% and lifted its full-year organic net revenue growth range to 4.5% to 5%.
Publicis Groupe raised its full-year organic growth guidance after second-quarter performance accelerated, with net revenue up 4.8% organically from a year earlier, ahead of the first quarter’s 4.5% growth. The company said this improvement helped lift first-half organic net revenue growth to 4.7%, with first-half net revenue totaling €7.23 billion.
Publicis reported second-quarter net revenue of €3.77 billion, and cited strength across multiple regions. The U.S., its largest market, grew 5.5% organically in the quarter, Europe rose 5% with the U.K. up 2.8%, France up 4.0%, and Germany up 3.1%, while Latin America climbed 11% and China grew 7.5%.
The company also highlighted that it maintained profitability while investing in AI, data, and sports marketing. Publicis posted a record first-half headline margin of 17.5%, and said headline free cash flow before working capital changes rose 20.8% at constant currency.
For the outlook, Publicis now expects full-year organic net revenue growth of 4.5% to 5%, up from a previous 4% to 5% range. It also expects free cash flow of around €2.2 billion and still expects a slight improvement on last year’s 18.2% operating margin, adding that strong new business wins in the first half should contribute about 200 basis points of growth on a full-year basis, according to Yahoo Finance.
