Trump Media launches paid low-latency Truth API for Wall Street trading
The Truth API is slated for institutional availability starting Aug. 1, 2026, and is designed as a machine-readable, real-time feed for algorithmic and high-frequency firms.
Trump Media, the operator of Truth Social, said it is launching a paid Truth API that will provide Wall Street firms with low-latency access to posts from key Truth Social accounts, including US President Donald Trump. Cointelegraph reports the service is intended for trading firms that need a fast, machine-readable stream of market-moving content.
The company targeted availability for institutional customers from Aug. 1, 2026. The API is positioned as a direct, licensed, real-time feed, and Trump Media described the move as part of a strategy to monetize its proprietary assets through a recurring revenue stream, according to Cointelegraph.
Cointelegraph also noted that the company previously said scraping Truth Social data violates its terms of service. Trump Media said it aims to create friction for third parties that are not accessing the platform through the new API, and it cited examples of Truth Social posts influencing markets amid the Iran and US conflict.
