Bamboo Insurance adds MS Transverse capacity in California

The partnership is expected to bring about $150 million in new admitted homeowners and dwelling fire capacity to California.

Bamboo Insurance announced a new partnership with MS Transverse to expand its admitted homeowners and dwelling fire capacity in California, a move aimed at improving options in high-demand, catastrophe-exposed areas.

Coverager reports the deal adds approximately $150 million in new admitted capacity and introduces additional options within Bamboo’s existing portfolio to increase affordability and flexibility for policyholders in those regions.

Bamboo said the expanded carrier relationships and additional underwriting tools are intended to support more competitive and configurable pricing options while keeping underwriting discipline for long-term sustainability, according to comments from John Chu, Bamboo Insurance CEO.

In a separate note, the outlet said Pawp Insurance Solutions was established around 2024 and secured its first carrier appointment this month.
