Several high-momentum small caps surge on heavy daily volume

Benzinga highlighted a group of top performing stocks in intraday “stock movers” tables, showing steep gains for several small-cap equities.

Among the day’s standouts were Sadot Group, up 75.4% to $24.99 on about 3.23 million shares, and Southland Holdings, up 60.7% to $1.09 on roughly 142,710 shares.

The list also included Callan Jmb, up 40.0% to $1.21, Baiya International Group, up 36.8% to $4.16, and Blueport Acquisition Ltd rights, up 32.8% to $0.20, according to the same table.

Separately, Benzinga published a “Top Performing High Short Interest Stocks” list, framing the theme that opportunities can exist in both bullish and bearish moves.
