Trump Media shares jump as paid real-time Truth Social feed nears
DJT says the paid early-access data feed will begin on August 1, with customer signups already underway.
Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (NASDAQ:DJT) surged, rising 13.1% week-on-week as investors anticipated revenue from a plan to sell fast, real-time access to President Donald Trump's market-moving posts.
According to Yahoo Finance, the company said its sale of real-time access is targeted to kick off on August 1, 2026. It has begun signing up customers ahead of the launch and is onboarding additional partners over the next few weeks.
Trump Media also introduced a business-to-business data feed, branded as a new “Truth API,” that provides licensed, real-time access to posts from the highest-ranking Truth Social accounts. The company said the feed is meant to close the gap for organizations that need immediate, verified information, noting that no official integrated API exists today and that many firms rely on manual monitoring.
In comments carried by Yahoo Finance, interim CEO Kevin McGurn said markets already move on Truth Social posts and that Truth API delivers a direct, licensed, real-time feed while supporting a high-margin, recurring revenue strategy. The report also cited Insider Monkey data showing hedge fund interest weakened in Q1, with 17 funds reporting positions versus 21 in the prior quarter.
