Apple shares hit record high as investors embrace new Siri AI beta
Apple stock rose 4.0% to close at $327.50, outpacing the Nasdaq’s 0.5% gain, after iOS 27 beta showed progress on Apple Intelligence.
Apple shares climbed to a record high Wednesday as investors reacted positively to the company’s new Siri AI beta and progress on Apple Intelligence, according to Yahoo Finance. Gene Munster of Deepwater Asset Management said the move reflects growing confidence in Apple’s AI strategy, pointing to relative outperformance versus the Nasdaq. Apple finished up 4.01% at $327.50, while the Nasdaq rose 0.5%. Ming-Chi Kuo also framed the rally as consistent with his prior expectations, saying on X that he had predicted a positive share-price trend in the second half of 2026 before WWDC 2026, assuming Apple’s core bull narrative stayed intact. Kuo said he rarely makes public calls on stock price trends, with this being one exception tied to WWDC 2026. The rally was further supported by developments in China, where China’s cyberspace regulator approved Apple Intelligence for the Chinese market. That approval allows Apple to roll out on-device generative AI features using models from Baidu and Alibaba, and Yahoo Finance noted Apple released public betas for iOS 27 and other platform updates earlier this week.
