Bernstein lifts Robinhood target on tokenization and prediction markets
Bernstein projects prediction markets revenue could reach $1.7 billion by 2028, a 64% compound annual growth rate.
Cointelegraph reports that Bernstein raised its price target for Robinhood Markets to $160 from $130 and kept an Outperform rating, citing the brokerage’s shift toward tokenized equities and prediction markets rather than traditional crypto trading.
In a research note dated Monday, Bernstein said prediction markets are poised to become Robinhood’s fastest-growing business, projecting segment revenue of $1.7 billion by 2028, which implies a 64% compound annual growth rate.
The analysts also pointed to tokenized equities as a long-term opportunity tied to Robinhood’s blockchain infrastructure, including the Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum-based layer-2 network used to support on-chain financial products.
Cointelegraph adds that Bernstein sees tokenization as a foundational layer for capital markets, forecasting the value of on-chain real-world assets could rise to between $2 trillion and $4 trillion by 2030 from roughly $35 billion today.
