Blue Heron to start work on 269-unit Rosewood apartments in Raleigh

The project, at 611 West South Street, follows Blue Heron’s $12.85 million land purchase earlier this year and is slated for completion in 2028.

Blue Heron Asset Management and design firm Cline will begin work on Rosewood, a 269-unit apartment development in Raleigh, according to ConnectCRE.

The project will be located at 611 West South Street and will total about 399,000 square feet across two buildings, with a central public plaza. Units are planned to range from 499 to 1,531 square feet.

ConnectCRE reports the development will include flexible indoor and outdoor resident spaces and amenities such as a custom sauna and cold plunge suite, private coworking areas, and a rooftop lounge and terrace, plus a concealed speakeasy within one of the buildings.

Rosewood will also feature 5,500 square feet of retail space along South Street, and the expected completion date is 2028. ConnectCRE adds that Blue Heron completed the $12.85 million land acquisition earlier this year.
