Construction begins on Brightline-adjacent multifamily and Tribute hotel

The Alida Residences project will include 181 luxury apartments and a rooftop pool deck, with both the residences and a 112-key hotel targeted for completion in 2028.

Construction is underway on two linked projects adjacent to West Palm Beach’s Brightline station, including a luxury multifamily development and a hotel under Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio brand, according to ConnectCRE.

Developers LD&D and IGEQ, along with capital and investment partner FrontRange Capital Partners, are advancing Alida Residences, a 181-unit community, alongside a 112-key Tribute Portfolio hotel. The developments will be built simultaneously as distinct residential and hospitality properties.

The sites are positioned near about five million square feet of surrounding office space, directly across from the Brightline station and near Vanderbilt University’s future campus, ConnectCRE said. Alida Residences will feature studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts ranging from 500 to over 2,000 square feet, plus wellness-driven amenities.

Both the Alida Residences and the Tribute Portfolio by Marriott hotel are expected to be completed in 2028, ConnectCRE reported, with the 21st-floor pool deck described as the first true rooftop pool on a high-rise multifamily building in downtown West Palm Beach.
