FirstTeam Real Estate opens Monterey community office on California Central Coast

FirstTeam Real Estate has opened a new Monterey community office on California’s Central Coast, expanding the firm beyond its Southern California footprint. The office is led by broker-owner Amber Russell of Over the Moon Realty, and it will support deals across multiple Monterey Peninsula markets.

HousingWire reports Russell and her team will serve clients in Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Marina. The move is intended to add a Central Coast hub and create a feeder market for both primary and second-home demand.

In announcing the expansion, FirstTeam said it focuses on pairing new community offices with leaders who know their local markets and can deliver best-in-class service. Russell chose to partner with FirstTeam to align with a brokerage she said would prioritize client experience while preserving Over the Moon Realty’s independent, community-focused brand identity.

Russell brings more than 32 years of experience in education and has a background as a military spouse. She also serves as 2026 president of the Monterey County Association of Realtors and focuses on luxury properties, probate and trust sales, and military relocations.
