Kalshi and Polymarket open interest declines after World Cup run

The Block reports that open interest at prediction market operators Kalshi and Polymarket fell by 20% as the World Cup frenzy wound down.

According to The Block, sports made up 80% of both platforms' total volumes during the long tournament period.
