Bamboo Insurance boosts California admitted homeowners capacity via MS Transverse
The partnership adds about $150 million in admitted capacity, with higher deductibles up to $10,000 and revised claim-free discounts for longer claim-free periods.
Bamboo Insurance said it has partnered with MS Transverse Insurance Company to expand admitted homeowners and dwelling fire capacity across California, a move aimed at improving access to coverage where availability has tightened.
The collaboration is expected to provide around $150 million in additional admitted capacity and broaden Bamboo Insurance’s admitted product options for homeowners, landlords, and insurance agents, including in high-risk or catastrophe-exposed areas such as Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.
Bamboo Insurance said the expanded offering builds on its existing admitted programs by adding higher deductible options of up to $10,000, along with mandatory water damage sublimits that use multiple tier structures to match different risk profiles.
The company also launched a revised claim-free discount program that provides increasing discounts for policyholders who maintain longer periods without claims, positioning the changes as part of improved underwriting capabilities for admitted homeowners and Difference in Conditions (DIC) markets.
