Inland plans 342-unit Citywalk apartments across from Mayo Clinic
The planned downtown Rochester, Minnesota project will include 90 short-term furnished rentals and is slated to start construction in 2026, aiming for completion in 2028.
Inland National Development Company (INDC) plans to co-develop Citywalk Apartments, a 342-unit, market-rate multifamily community in downtown Rochester, Minnesota, located directly across from Mayo Clinic’s downtown campus, according to ConnectCRE.
The project at 201 6th Ave SW will be positioned near Rochester’s pedestrian-friendly subway and skyway system and across the street from Mayo Clinic’s new $5 billion expansion, INDC said.
INland and Reuter Walton Development are working as co-developers. Citywalk Apartments will offer a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences, plus 90 short-term, fully furnished rental units.
Construction is expected to begin in 2026, with completion anticipated in 2028. INDC’s CEO, Anthony Casaccio, said the project reflects the company’s focus on delivering housing in high-growth markets like Rochester, where demand is supported by healthcare and economic expansion.
