The Catalina community is planned to include 12 three-story buildings, with completion slated for April 2028.

NRP Group announced the financial closing and groundbreaking of Catalina, a 336-unit affordable housing community in Travis County near Austin, Texas, developed with the Housing Authority of Travis County.

The project will target families and working professionals earning between 30% and 70% of the Area Median Income, with homes ranging from one to four bedrooms across 12, three-story residential buildings.

Catalina will feature amenities including a swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, business center, and a multipurpose community room with a full kitchen, plus children’s activity space and a playground.

Supportive resident services will include after-school care, financial literacy courses, ESL classes, first-time homebuyer programs, and a complimentary shuttle service, while construction and permanent financing will be provided by PIMCO and arranged by Berkadia, with completion scheduled for April 2028.
