Rokstone secures $1 million Lloyd’s capacity for Autotransporter solution
The backed capacity will let Rokstone offer specialized wording and tailored deductible structures for Autotransporters, which it says can separate cargo and physical damage risks from auto liability.
Rokstone, an international specialty re/insurance managing general agent, has secured a new USD 1 million capacity deal backed by Lloyd’s to launch a specialist Autotransporter insurance solution.
The additional capacity is designed to address what Rokstone describes as a longstanding lack of choice and flexibility in inland marine trucking coverage, including a gap it says has left Autotransporter operators without properly tailored coverage extensions and wording required by Original Equipment Manufacturers and shippers.
Rokstone said the solution focuses on Autotransporters, which it describes as technologically advanced trucking operations with unique hazards, higher limit requirements, and typically lower loss frequencies than traditional trucking companies.
It added that separating Motor Truck Cargo and Vehicle Physical Damage from Auto Liability can reduce costs, improve claims management, and support more consistent underwriting, while also enabling Rokstone Marine to expand its target segment to include larger specialty fleet operations.
