Emami Paper Mills stock hits 20% upper circuit after June profit jumps 512%
June quarter consolidated net profit rose to ₹38.61 crore, up from ₹6.31 crore a year earlier, and revenue from operations increased 22% year-on-year to ₹560 crore.
Emami Paper Mills shares hit the 20% upper circuit on 22 July, extending a winning streak to a third consecutive session and reaching a 10-month high of ₹118.63. The rally followed investor reaction to the company’s June-quarter earnings.
According to LiveMint Markets, Emami Paper Mills reported a 512% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to ₹38.61 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, compared with ₹6.31 crore in the same period last year. The company also reported sequential profit growth of 22.6% from ₹31.50 crore in the March quarter.
Revenue from operations rose 22% year-on-year to ₹560 crore, from ₹459.76 crore a year earlier, and increased nearly 13% sequentially from ₹496.42 crore in the preceding March quarter.
The company said EBITDA more than doubled to ₹83 crore from ₹38 crore in Q1 FY26, while the EBITDA margin expanded by 660 basis points to 14.82%, reflecting improved operating efficiency. Promoters held a 75% stake and public shareholders held the remaining 25% during the June quarter.
