Oil prices climb, pushing bond yields near 2026 highs

The WSJ Markets update said the Nasdaq slipped ahead of earnings expected later in the afternoon.
Among the companies scheduled to report were Tesla and Alphabet, setting up a focus on the next set of results as markets reacted to the higher oil backdrop.
