Lattice Semiconductor jumps as industrial and auto recovery lifts demand
Clearbridge’s Q2 2026 Small Cap Growth Strategy pointed to Lattice gains tied to recovery in industrial and automotive end markets and rising content for newer AI server architectures.
Clearbridge Investments highlighted Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) in its Q2 2026 commentary for the Clearbridge Small Cap Growth Strategy, tying recent performance to a recovery in industrial and automotive end markets. In the period, the Russell 2000 Growth Index rose 25.6%, marking its third-best quarterly performance in two decades. Clearbridge said the rally was supported by enthusiasm for AI, strength in biotech, and gains in high-beta, high-momentum stocks, even as investors weighed the pace and impact of AI infrastructure spending.
Clearbridge also said the Strategy delivered strong absolute returns of more than 21% (gross) in the quarter, while lagging the Russell 2000 Growth benchmark due to underperformance in some healthcare and financial stocks, software challenges, and limited exposure to high-beta, high-momentum AI-related names. Regarding Lattice specifically, Yahoo Finance notes the stock closed at $138.13 per share on July 23, 2026. The shares were down 3.1% over one month but up 150.1% over the past 52 weeks, and the company had a market capitalization of $18.9 billion, according to the article.
