Odos Protocol to shut down on July 30, users can withdraw

Odos said the Odos DAO is separate from the operating company and that the ODOS token will remain onchain, even as operations end.

Odos Protocol, a decentralized exchange aggregator, said it will shut down operations on July 30, giving users one week to withdraw assets. In a Thursday post on X, the team said it did not provide a reason for the decision.

The company said the Odos DAO is separate from the operating company and will announce its own plans, while the ODOS token will continue to exist onchain. The protocol’s DEX aggregator volume has declined over the past two years, reaching $169 million in July 2026, down from a peak of $7.8 billion in December 2024.

According to DefiLlama data cited by Cointelegraph, Odos Protocol generated $2.72 million in annualized revenue. Cointelegraph also noted that several other crypto platforms and DeFi protocols have announced closures recently, including BitMEX, which said it plans to shut down operations after 11 years.
