Blur will shut its NFT marketplace frontend next month while protocol stays onchain
Blur also said Blend will stop matching new loans on Nov. 12, with borrowers getting until then to repay or let loans default.
Crypto NFT marketplace Blur said Monday it will shut down its frontend next month, while keeping its onchain marketplace protocol running.
Blur added that it will continue controlling the protocol fee switch as the frontend closes.
The platform also outlined a change to its Blend lending feature, saying it will stop matching new loans on Nov. 12, 2026.
According to The Block, Blur said borrowers can repay loans or allow them to default by that date, and the company will provide a frontend tool to help users withdraw assets from Blend after the shutdown.
