Over 80 companies set for Q1 FY27 earnings on July 24
In India, the Sensex and Nifty 50 fell for a fourth straight session as crude oil prices rose, while analysts expect Bank of Baroda to deliver double digit growth in net interest income.
More than 80 listed companies are scheduled to release their Q1 FY27 results on Friday, July 24, including NTPC, Tata Consumer Products, Bank of Baroda, SAIL, REC, and SBI Life Insurance, marking one of the busiest days of the ongoing earnings season, according to LiveMint Markets.
Beyond quarterly numbers, investors are expected to focus on management commentary covering business outlook, profit growth, and dividend announcements, along with FY27 guidance and interim dividend declarations. Market participants will also monitor demand trends across sectors that report on the day.
Other companies due to report their June quarter earnings include Shriram Finance, Hindustan Zinc, CG Power, Jindal Steel, Bank of India, Laurus Labs, Lodha Developers, Welspun Corp, Container Corporation of India, Dalmia Bharat, Dr Lal PathLabs, KFin Technologies, and New India Assurance.
Heading into the earnings day, LiveMint Markets said domestic benchmarks extended losses for the fourth straight session on rising crude oil prices and geopolitical uncertainty, with the Sensex down 0.47% to 76,391.39 and the Nifty 50 down 0.53% to 23,869.60. The outlet also cited Motilal Oswal Financial Services expectations for Bank of Baroda, including a 13.3% year on year rise in net interest income to ₹12,950 crore and a 13.8% jump in net profit to ₹5,170 crore, while anticipating credit costs in the 0.4% to 0.5% band.
