CME launches cash-settled single-stock futures on 55 U.S. equities

The launch includes micro-sized contracts on 22 names, with trading available 23 hours a day.

CME Group launched cash-settled single-stock futures tied to 55 U.S. equities, adding a new way for investors to trade individual stocks through listed futures.

According to CNBC Markets, the product range also includes micro-sized contracts on 22 of the names covered by the launch.

CME said the futures will be available for trading 23 hours a day, extending trading beyond traditional market hours.
