NAR Tuccori buyer commission opt-in settlement heads to Nov. 2 hearing
Opt-in settlements slated for approval include NAR at $52.25 million, with all participating parties contributing more than $120 million to the Global Settlement Fund.
HousingWire reports that Judge Linsay Jenkins has scheduled a Nov. 2, 2026 final approval hearing for opt-in settlements in the Tuccori homebuyer commission lawsuit. The deals, which received preliminary approval in May, will be reviewed following an earlier hearing on the settlement class notices.
The opt-in agreements up for approval include NAR at $52.25 million, Compass at $7.33 million, eXp World Holdings at $4.34 million, Hanna Holdings at $8.25 million, HomeServices of America at $30 million, and Douglas Elliman at $2.04 million.
In total, the settling parties in Tuccori have contributed more than $120 million into the Global Settlement Fund. Judge Jenkins also said in the preliminary approval order that the settlement terms are “fair, reasonable and adequate,” after negotiations at arm’s length with multiple mediation sessions overseen by a court-appointed special master.
