South Korea June consumer sentiment edged up to 106.8

South Korea consumer sentiment for June rose to 106.8, compared with 106.6 in the prior period, according to Forexlive.
Forexlive also pointed to softer expectations for prices, with the 12-month median inflation expectation at 2.7%, down from 2.8% previously.
The commentary suggested the recent market stress among South Korean traders has not yet fully dented broader consumer confidence, while noting sentiment had peaked on June 25.
