Ambuja Cements profit falls 36.6% in Q1FY27

Revenue from operations slipped 7.7% YoY to ₹9,500 crore, while cement sales volume declined to 17.1 million tonnes.

Ambuja Cements reported a 36.6% year-on-year drop in consolidated profit to ₹660 crore for the June quarter, according to LiveMint Markets. The result marks Q1FY27, compared with ₹1,041 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company said revenue from operations fell 7.7% YoY to ₹9,500 crore, down from ₹10,289 crore in Q1FY26.

Ambuja Cements also reported weaker demand, with cement sales volume declining to 17.1 million tonnes in Q1FY27 from 18.4 million tonnes a year earlier.

The update was shared as the Adani Group cement company posted its Q1FY27 financial performance on Tuesday, 28 July, LiveMint Markets reported.
