Core Scientific and AMD plan multi-gigawatt AI data-center capacity

Core Scientific is partnering with AMD on a new AI data-center infrastructure deal, with capacity planned to begin in 2027, according to The Block.

The collaboration targets 500 MW of U.S. AI data-center capacity and is designed to scale up over time to as much as 2.5 GW.

The Block also reports that the agreement includes warrants that give the counterparties the right to buy Core Scientific’s CORZ stock.
