DeepSeek founder-linked hedge funds land top allocation in CXMT IPO
Hedge funds linked to Liang Wenfeng, the billionaire founder of DeepSeek, secured a major private allocation in the initial public offering of Chinese memory chipmaker CXMT, according to a Bloomberg report cited by Hedgeweek.
The report says the allocations made these funds among the biggest beneficiaries of the IPO, which was described as record-breaking.
CXMT is a Chinese memory chipmaker, and the IPO generated outsized demand that helped drive the record for the deal.
