Emirates launches Crypto.com Pay for flights via its website and app

The crypto payment option is available for eligible UAE residents and uses Emirati dirham pricing and settlement.

Emirates has begun accepting cryptocurrency payments for flights through Crypto.com Pay, rolling the feature out across its website and Emirates App as of July 28.

The checkout option lets customers with a Crypto.com account pay directly from their digital wallets, with transactions processed in line with UAE regulatory standards. Bookings priced and settled in Emirati dirham (AED) appear at checkout on emirates.com and the Emirates App.

Emirates said the integration was the product of a partnership signed in July 2025, moving from memorandum to live launch in under a year. For mobile bookings, users are sent to the Crypto.com app to approve the payment from their wallet, then returned to Emirates to receive their confirmation and e-ticket.

The airline reported record results for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, with profit of AED 19.7 billion (about $5.4 billion) on revenue of roughly $41 billion, and 53.2 million passengers carried. Emirates also noted that its flight payments are handled through Crypto.com's Dubai entity.
