Aon’s reinsurance arm revenue rises to $711m in Q2 2026
The Reinsurance Solutions unit grew revenue 3% year over year, or 5% on an organic basis, helped by net new treaty business and strong retention.
Global broking group Aon reported that its reinsurance arm, Reinsurance Solutions, generated $711 million of revenue in the second quarter of 2026, up 3% from $688 million a year earlier.
Aon said the unit’s treaty-placement growth within Reinsurance Solutions reflected net new business and strong retention, alongside double-digit increases in facultative placements and support from its Strategy and Technology Group.
For the first half of 2026, Reinsurance Solutions revenue grew 6%, or 4% on an organic basis, to $1.99 billion.
In the broader Risk Capital segment that houses Reinsurance Solutions, Aon said revenue rose to $3 billion for the quarter and reached $6.5 billion in the first half, while its Human Capital segment declined 4% to $1.2 billion in Q2.
