Night View Capital highlights ServiceNow’s AI automation demand in Q2 letter

ServiceNow closed at $107.78 on July 27, 2026, and Night View Capital cited the need for governance and routing as firms expand automation.

Night View Capital, an investment management firm, said in its Q2 2026 investor letter that AI’s impact across industries is likely to be as significant as electricity, arguing that software automation fears have been overdone rather than signaling permanent damage to the sector.

In the letter, the firm pointed to ServiceNow, a cloud-based software company that automates and manages digital workflows, and framed the company as “trusted plumbing” for routing, tracking, and governing work handed to software agents, according to the text of the investor update.

ServiceNow closed at $107.78 per share on July 27, 2026, valuing the company at $111.15 billion. The stock showed a one-month return of 4.6% and has fallen 44.3% over the past 52 weeks, based on the article’s figures.

Night View Capital also highlighted ServiceNow among its focus names, noting hedge fund ownership in its database, with 108 hedge fund portfolios holding the stock at the end of the first quarter of 2026 versus 118 in the prior quarter. The outlet said ServiceNow ranks 25 on its list of 40 most popular stocks among hedge funds heading into 2026.
