Robinhood reports record quarter, crypto transaction revenue falls 38%

Crypto transaction revenue dropped to $100 million, even as the company posted $1.31 billion in total revenue and $573 million in net income.

Robinhood posted a record second-quarter, with overall revenue and profit rising year over year, but cryptocurrency transaction revenue fell sharply, according to the company’s earnings report covered by Cointelegraph.

Total revenue increased 32% year over year to $1.31 billion, while net income rose 48% to $573 million. Crypto transaction revenue declined 38% to $100 million, from about $160 million a year earlier.

Robinhood also reported $40 billion in crypto trading volume during the quarter, including $18 billion on the Robinhood app and $22 billion from Bitstamp, the crypto exchange it acquired in June 2025.

The company said it continued expanding its digital asset business with the public mainnet launch of Robinhood Chain, tokenized US stock access for eligible users in more than 120 countries, and its first decentralized lending product, Robinhood Earn. It also completed its acquisition of Canadian crypto platform WonderFi and said nearly 100,000 customer accounts are enrolled in Agentic Trading, representing more than $100 million in assets under custody.
