GoodLeap launches Visa HELOC card for home improvements
The card provides up to $150,000 of HELOC-backed spending, with 6% cash back on qualifying home projects and 3% on everyday purchases for cardholders who spend at least $2,000 monthly.
HousingWire reports that GoodLeap has launched the GoodLeap Home Visa Signature Card, a Visa-backed credit card supported by a home equity line of credit (HELOC) that gives eligible homeowners access up to $150,000.
The card offers 6% cash back on qualifying home projects initiated through the GoodLeap Home app, and 3% cash back on eligible everyday purchases for cardholders who spend at least $2,000 during a billing cycle. GoodLeap said the card carries no annual fee and can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
GoodLeap said homeowners can use the HELOC-backed line to finance purchases, consolidate higher-interest balances, and convert balances exceeding $1,000 into installment plans with fixed payments and lower interest rates.
The company also highlighted that the card is integrated with its platform and contractor network, supporting financing for projects including solar, HVAC, roofing, windows, and batteries, and that homeowners can keep access to the line for future renovations and emergency repairs without reapplying.
