Vulcan Value Partners adds new positions including Veeva Systems

The fund’s Q2 2026 investor letter also cites Veeva revenue growth and says the stock is lower year to date despite strong results.

Vulcan Value Partners said in its second-quarter 2026 investor letter that it added new positions during the quarter, including Veeva Systems Inc. (NYSE: VEEV). The letter highlights Veeva’s inclusion in the firm’s All-Cap strategy for the quarter.

Veeva Systems is described as a technology company offering a cloud-based software platform for the life sciences industry, with customers using it across drug development, regulatory approval, manufacturing, and sales and marketing. Vulcan Value Partners said Veeva is the “dominant vertical market software system of record” for life sciences.

Vulcan Value Partners also pointed to performance, saying Veeva grew revenue and EBIT by 16% and 24%, respectively, in 2025, and that it is off to a strong start in 2026. The firm added that Veeva’s shares were down close to 20% year to date through the end of June, in line with the broader application software sector.

As of July 29, 2026, Veeva Systems closed at $207.91 per share, putting its market capitalization at $33.77 billion. Yahoo Finance data in the article shows the stock was up 7.87% over one month, but down 26.84% over the past 52 weeks.
