ExlService shares jump after upbeat second-quarter results and 2026 outlook
ExlService reported $594.8 million in second-quarter revenue, up 15.6% year over year, and guided full-year 2026 revenue to $2.39 billion to $2.415 billion.
ExlService Holdings shares surged 17.88% to close at $35.99 after the company extended a five-day winning streak on second-quarter results and a more optimistic outlook for the rest of 2026, according to Yahoo Finance.
For the quarter, ExlService posted $594.76 million in revenue, a 15.6% increase from $514.46 million in the same period a year earlier. The insurance segment led with $197.8 million, followed by healthcare and life sciences at $158.0 million, while banking, capital markets and diversified industries contributed $133.9 million and international growth markets totaled $105.1 million.
Net income fell 2.3% year over year to $64.5 million from $66.05 million. ExlService also said it added 17 new clients during the period.
For full-year 2026, the company issued revenue guidance of $2.39 billion to $2.415 billion, implying 14% to 16% year-on-year growth, and projected adjusted diluted EPS of $2.25 to $2.29, an implied 16% to 18% increase from 2025. In a separate note, Needham raised its price target for ExlService to $45 from $40 and reaffirmed a buy recommendation, and the outlet said 38 hedge funds held the stock in the first quarter.
