Situational Awareness hedge fund slashed public stock positions after reversal

CNBC Finance reports that Leopold Aschenbrenner's Situational Awareness hedge fund collapsed after a historic momentum reversal hit its public stock positions.
According to the outlet, the fund was forced to slash those positions after margin calls followed the reversal.
The report says the hedge fund managed $45 billion before it reduced exposure in response to the pressure from margin requirements.
