Russian strikes in Kyiv kill four and wound more than a dozen

Officials said the blasts damaged a partially collapsed building and set some warehouses on fire, following warnings of a ballistic missile attack.

Russian strikes on Kyiv killed at least four people and wounded more than a dozen others, local officials said on Saturday, after the city’s mayor warned of a ballistic missile attack, according to SCMP Economy citing Agence France-Presse.

The Kyiv military administration said the early-morning strikes killed four people, while Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported 15 people, including two boys aged 13 and 17, were wounded and taken to hospital.

The mayor said several people were trapped in a partially collapsed building and that some warehouses were on fire. SCMP Economy reported journalists heard more than 10 explosions in a row, with the blast intensity triggering car alarms across the city.
