AI stock pullback is offset by gains elsewhere in US markets
The market’s recent dip in AI related stocks has been largely balanced by strength outside the AI complex, according to WSJ Markets.
WSJ Markets argues that while the US is prone to creating stock market bubbles, it has also shown a pattern of shrugging off subsequent busts.
The outlet says that, for now, a pullback in AI related stocks has been almost completely offset by gains in other parts of the market, keeping overall performance steadier than the AI selloff alone might suggest.
WSJ Markets adds that the larger reckoning could still come later, even as the current pullback appears contained by broader gains.
