Proof of Attendance Protocol shuts down after more than five years
The Block says the POAP service was used by more than 46,210 issuers, including Coinbase and American Express, to mint on-chain mementos.
The Block reports that Proof of Attendance Protocol, or POAP, is shutting down after operating for more than five years.
According to the outlet, POAP was used by more than 46,210 issuers, including crypto exchange Coinbase and payments company American Express, to create on-chain mementos that users could mint.
The shutdown follows the end of the protocol’s service for those mementos, according to The Block.
