Gallagher Re appoints Emiliano Castuma as Head of Agriculture for LAC
The hire comes after Castuma spent 18 years at Aon, most recently as Agricultural Regional Practice Leader.
Gallagher Re, the reinsurance broking and advisory unit of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has appointed Emiliano Castuma as Head of Agriculture for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Castuma brings specialist experience in agricultural treaty reinsurance, and Gallagher Re said his track record includes longstanding client relationships and a regional network intended to strengthen the firm’s agriculture proposition.
According to Gallagher Re, Castuma most recently served at Aon for 18 years as Agricultural Regional Practice Leader before joining Gallagher Re.
In his remarks on the move, Castuma said he left Aon after 18 years, citing gratitude and nostalgia, and he referenced having built and mentored a regional agricultural practice over time.
