Pfizer beats estimates and lowers full-year Covid revenue outlook

Pfizer trimmed its full-year expected Covid product revenue to $4.0 billion, down from about $5.0 billion previously, while citing strength in Eliquis and other drugs.

Pfizer reported results that beat expectations, helped by performance in Eliquis and other therapies, CNBC Markets said.

The company also adjusted its outlook for Covid products, lowering its full-year revenue expectation to $4.0 billion from around $5.0 billion previously, according to CNBC.

In its earnings update, Pfizer indicated the change reflected the strength of its non-Covid portfolio, with Eliquis and other drugs supporting the overall quarter.

CNBC World and CNBC Earnings carried the same earnings and guidance update, highlighting the guidance range shift tied to Covid product revenue.
