Power Finance Corp board to consider interim dividend on Aug. 7

Power Finance Corporation says its FY 2026 to 27 interim dividend proposal is pending board approval at a meeting set for August 7, 2026, as investors watch for any shareholder payout update.

State-owned Power Finance Corporation has told stock exchanges that its board will consider whether to declare an interim dividend for FY 2026 to 27 at a meeting scheduled for August 7, 2026. LiveMint Markets said the move is a continuation of the company’s earlier communication dated July 28, with the interim dividend item listed as part of the agenda.

The filing notes the proposal remains subject to the board’s decision during the meeting, meaning any declaration would depend on approval at that time. Power Finance Corporation also said the latest update was submitted to both the National Stock Exchange and BSE on August 4, 2026.

Alongside the dividend agenda, the stock was up slightly, trading around ₹421.85 during the day on BSE, after having hit a 52-week high of ₹486.45 in April 2026 and a 52-week low of ₹330.05 in December 2025. LiveMint Markets also reported that the shares have lost 2% over one month and 7% over three months, though they are up 1% over one year and nearly 300% over five years.

For the January to March quarter of FY26, Power Finance Corporation reported consolidated net profit of ₹8,598 crore, up 2.87% from ₹8,358 crore a year earlier, while revenue from operations fell by more than 1% year-on-year to ₹28,919.52 crore. The company also recommended a final dividend of ₹3.95 per equity share for FY26, subject to shareholder approval, and said this would be in addition to interim dividends of ₹14.60 per equity share that it declared and paid in four tranches during the year.
