Payward parent Kraken shifts position on tokenized equities voting rights

The Block reports that Payward, the parent of crypto exchange Kraken, has changed its stance on aspects of its tokenized equities offering. The shift relates to voting rights for eligible participants, where a prior arrangement left xStocks holders without voting rights.

The Block says the new deal will allow eligible investors to submit proxy voting preferences, aligning the tokenized setup more closely with traditional shareholder voting mechanics.
