CASHCAT jumps 120% as Robinhood Chain TVL rises to $774 million
CASHCAT trades near 8.7 cents, with trading volume around $9 million per day, while TVL on Robinhood Chain is up about 20% over seven days.
CoinDesk reports that CASHCAT, a cat-themed memecoin on Robinhood Chain, surged more than 120% over the past week to about 8.7 cents, recovering from a drop after the chain's mid-July launch activity.
Even with many early tokens fading, Robinhood Chain total value locked climbed to roughly $774 million, and tokenized real-world assets were cited at about $100 million, with CASHCAT representing about 85% of that tokenized-assets value.
CoinDesk also notes that CASHCAT is trading up 22% over the past 24 hours, with a market cap around $86 million and daily volume near $9 million. The token remains below its mid-July high of roughly 22 cents, while launchpad activity has cooled, with token deployments falling from about 35,000 per day in mid-July to about 10,000.
On-chain data cited by CoinDesk shows the token has about 41,200 holders and that its full 989 million supply is circulating with no locked allocation. The outlet adds that two protocols account for nearly three-quarters of Robinhood Chain’s TVL, with Morpho at about $332 million and Ethena at about $236 million.
