Airbnb CEO says AI spending will increase after earnings beat

Airbnb shares rose 15% after the company reported an earnings beat, and CEO Brian Chesky said AI is behind the renewed growth.

Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said the company plans to spend “a lot more” on artificial intelligence after reporting an earnings beat that helped drive a sharp jump in the stock price, according to CNBC Markets.

Chesky previously had been unsure whether AI would help Airbnb, but he said that a year later, AI is the reason growth has returned.

CNBC World also reported the same remarks alongside the earnings and stock move.
