Denver Summit FC submits design plans for women’s soccer stadium
The four-story, 150,000-square-foot stadium is planned for Santa Fe Yards, south of downtown Denver, with expected construction starting in September.
Denver Summit FC has submitted detailed design plans to the City of Denver for its new women’s soccer stadium, with the filing including an Urban Design layout showing where concessions, seating options, locker rooms, bathrooms, and press boxes will be located.
The planned stadium will be built at Santa Fe Yards, south of downtown Denver. The Urban Design plan calls for a four-story facility totaling 150,000 square feet that is expected to hold about 14,000 people, along with provisions for a field club.
Construction is expected to begin in September, though delays mean the stadium is anticipated to open sometime in 2028. During construction, the team will play at a temporary stadium in Centennial.
