Fredun Pharmaceuticals shares jump after Q1 FY27 profit surge
The company reported Q1 FY27 net profit of ₹13.13 crore, up 94.1% year on year, alongside revenue growth of 90.7% to ₹227.75 crore.
Fredun Pharmaceuticals shares rose more than 3.5% on Friday, 7 August, extending gains after the company released strong Q1 FY27 results. The stock hit an intraday high of ₹1,264.95 on the BSE, about ₹66.7 below its all-time high.
For the quarter ended June 2026, Fredun Pharmaceuticals posted consolidated net profit of ₹13.13 crore, up 94.1% year on year, compared with ₹6.76 crore in the same period a year earlier. Revenue from operations jumped 90.7% year on year to ₹227.75 crore, while profit before tax increased 127.3% year on year to ₹20.55 crore.
The company also reported higher costs, with total expenses rising 86.6% to ₹206.79 crore. The increase was driven mainly by a 97.6% rise in raw material costs, a 151.6% increase in depreciation charges, and a 52.5% increase in other expenses.
Fredun Pharmaceuticals said it completed the allotment of 1.10 crore bonus equity shares in a 2:1 ratio on 17 July 2026, increasing its issued and paid-up equity share capital from 55.13 lakh shares to 1.65 crore shares, according to LiveMint Markets. In comments on the performance, the company said strong first-quarter results reflect long-term investments beginning to translate into tangible outcomes.
