Lexington Homes plans 53-townhome community in Northbrook, Illinois
The Northbrook Row project at 1825 Shermer Road will include 33 single-family rowhomes and 20 homes from Lexington’s Mews series, with sizes ranging from 2,304 to 2,454 square feet.
Chicago-based Lexington Homes announced its second new townhome community, Northbrook Row, in Northbrook, Illinois. The project will be developed at 1825 Shermer Road and will total 53 townhomes, according to ConnectCRE.
Northbrook Row will offer 33 single-family rowhomes with three levels of living space, along with a private yard and a detached two-car garage. An additional 20 homes will come from Lexington’s Mews series, featuring three levels and attached two-car garages.
The three-level rowhomes are described as ranging from 2,304 to 2,454 square feet. In comments cited by ConnectCRE, Lexington’s principal Jeff Benach said the company knows the area well after opening its Gateway Northbrook townhome community about a year ago, which is nearly sold out.
Benach also pointed to the project’s proximity to downtown Northbrook and the Northbrook Metra station, adding that the area is known for restaurants, entertainment, and shopping venues.
